Rules

Eligibility

You must be 18 years of age to make a deposit or play in any MundoDT contest with an entry fee or prize. If you are physically located in any state in US of the following (Alabama, Arizona, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Louisiana, Montana, Nevada, Texas or Washington) or UK, you cannot deposit or play for real money. For further information regarding eligibility, please consult our official Terms of Use.

Multiple Accounts

As a general rule, each player on MundoDT is allowed only one account. In special cases, MundoDT may allow a second account to be created. You must receive explicit written permission from MundoDT before opening a second account. It will ultimately be up to MundoDT to determine whether in our judgment two accounts belong to the same person. Penalties are at the discretion of MundoDT staff, but may include closure of all accounts and withholding of any cash that we determine to have been fraudulently obtained.

Suspended Accounts

There are a variety of behaviors that are detrimental to MundoDT and other players on the Service. Engaging in those behaviors may result in suspension of some or all functions associated with your account. Suspended players are expected to respect the disciplinary actions imposed on their accounts and all communication regarding restoration of your account should take place via the support@mundodt.com email account.

User Names

MundoDT may require users to change their user names in cases where the name is offensive or promotes a commercial venture. The requirement to change will be determined at MundoDT’s sole discretion, and if requests are ignored, MundoDT may unilaterally change a player’s user name.

Casual and Experienced Player

MundoDT will identify those players with certain levels of experience and/or expertise with a Casual and/or Experienced player (“EP”) badge. These badges will appear alongside the player’s username, and such players may not enter beginner contests, and are also ineligible to enter certain contests reserved for players who do not have an EP badge. A player will be tagged with an EP badge according to the following criteria:

*Experienced player: More than 50 contests played, or more than $1k won in more than 5 contests.

Unfilled Contests

All open contests that are completed on MundoDT have a predetermined prize pool and number of entrants. Contests labeled as "Guaranteed" (with a “G”) will always run and pay out full prize regardless if the contest starts as unfilled. For not "Guaranteed"contests, if the number of participants is not reached before the start of the contest, the contest will not take place and your entrance fee will be refunded. For example, a head-to-head challenge cannot take place without two willing competitors and a 10-person league will not be conducted with only 9 interested participants. Contests will less than 2 participants, will also cancel and your entrance fee will be refunded.

Contest Lock Times

Contests lock when the first game starts for that slate. That means no more entries and no more lineup changes. Let’s say you’re looking to join a Sunday Soccer contest and the first game in which players are eligible for selection in that contest kicks off at 1pm that day. You’ll need to enter and make your last lineup change by 12:59pm - not a minute later.

Maximum Entries

All contests have limits on the maximum number of entries that a single user may submit. These limits may vary, and they will be specified in the description of each contest. However, under no circumstances will you be allowed to exceed the following entry limits:

  1. 1 Entry in contests with 12 Entries or less

  2. 2 Entries in contests with 13 to 36 Entries

  3. 3 Entries in contests with 37 to 100 Entries

  4. 3 % of the total Entries for contests with 101 to 4999 Entries

  5. 150 Entries for contests with 5000 or more Entries

Canceling Entries

Users may cancel entries by clicking on the ‘cancel entry’ link located at the bottom of your entry on the roster confirmation page. You may cancel your entry for any contest that is unfilled. Within 15 minutes of game start, the cancel entry link will disappear when a contest fills (GPP, League, or 50/50). MundoDT will not accommodate cancellation requests for entries in filled contests within 15 minutes of game start. MundoDT has no obligation to honor cancellation requests that are not received, or which are received after these deadlines, due to technical difficulties or other reasons. Also, MundoDT will not accommodate requests to cancel matched H2H entries.

Postponed Games

Rules for how postponed games are treated in MundoDT contests vary depending on the contest type. For one day contests, if the postponed game is played on the same day then you will receive points for your players in those games as normal. If a game is postponed to a later date (more than 24hs after the last match in the contest) or called off for any reason, any players you have selected for that game will receive zero points. For any contests that are scheduled to include games from multiple days (such as some playoff contests), you will receive points for any games that are played no later than 24 hours after the last game scheduled as part of the contest. If game cancellations and/or postponements mean there is only one game left in a contest, then the contest will be canceled and all entry fees will be refunded. NOTE: A game will be considered to be 'played' on a given day if it begins on that day and is completed no later than 6am on the following day.

Suspended Games

Rules for how suspended games are treated vary depending on the sport and game type. A game is considered suspended if it is unfinished, but to be completed in the future. At a minimum, the statistics compiled prior to the end of the contest period will count towards contests. For a suspended game, you will receive points for the remainder of the game according to the following. If the game is suspended until a future date, points accumulated in the remainder of the game will not count towards contests. For one day contests, you will receive points for any postponed games that are played no later than 24 hours later. For any contests that are scheduled to include games from multiple days (such as some playoff contests), you will receive the remaining points for the any games that are completed no later than the day after the last game scheduled as part of the contest.

Traded Players

Players being traded may impact contests that have already been created with the players on their old teams. Player team listings on MundoDT are updated once per day (overnight). Note that because contests are created as much as five or six days in advance, traded players may not be available in contests which include a game involving their new team, but not their old team. Also note that in some instances a player you selected may no longer be available in a contest which includes their old team, but not their new team. In that case, you'll need to select a replacement or be credited with zero points for the player. Note that on the day a player is traded, they may still be listed for their old team in the draft screen. If they are traded to another team which is part of the same contest in which you choose them, you will still receive points for their performance. These points may not be reflected accurately during live scoring, but will count at contest settlement time. Also note that contest settlement may be delayed in order to ensure accuracy. Most importantly, please note that in very rare cases a player is traded early enough in the day that they are able to play for their new team. If they are traded from a team with a late game to a team with an early game, you may be able to select them in late contests, already knowing how they performed that day. In this situation, you will receive zero points for their performance.

Lineup Restrictions

In addition to the salary cap, there are two restrictions governing the mix of players allowed in your lineup for MundoDT contests. The first is that you must pick players from at least three different teams. The second is that you may not pick more than four players from the same team. The Service will prevent you from saving a lineup that would violate either of these restrictions.

Scripts

Use of unauthorized scripts is prohibited on MundoDT. Authorized scripts will be made available through MundoDT and will be accessible to all users prior to game entry.

Withdrawals

You can withdraw your prizes at any time, subject to anti-fraud checks on playing patterns and deposits prior to processing. For all withdrawals we require a valid mailing address, name, last name, birthday and ID number. To withdraw, simply click the Withdraw link on your account dropdown or in your My Profile section. Enter the amount you wish to withdraw, along with payee information and your Bitcoins account details. Bitcoins requests will be processed within 5-7 business days. We conduct anti-fraud checks on playing patterns and deposits prior to processing a withdrawal. In cases where you have received a bonus or other benefits as a result of your deposit and have not yet played through the deposit (entering contests whose total entry fees equal the value of the deposit), MundoDT reserves the right to refuse the withdrawal and/or close your account.

Deposits

You may deposit money into your MundoDT account using Bitcoins, Bank transfers and cash with payment options available for your country. If you're having any problems depositing money then get in touch at support@mundodt.com and we'll deal with the issue as soon possible. There may be limits on the amount you may deposit in certain circumstances.

Contest Settlement and Payment

We try to settle contests and run payments as quickly as possible, but must ensure we do so accurately. Most contests are settled shortly after the last game finishes. However, to settle we have to wait until all the player statistics have been reported by our third party stats provider. This lets us ensure that the final box scores are complete and accurate. This happens 24hs after the last match in the contest, so please note there can sometimes be changes after preliminary results have been shown. If there is difficulty obtaining official results or issues with scoring, the contest final results may delay more. Payments will not be issued until this revision has been completed, and final winners have been determined.

Service Access and Editing Problems

While we try to ensure that MundoDT is functioning available at all times, like any online service we may periodically experience periods of outage or slow performance. These can sometimes result in an inability to access the Service, problems editing lineups, or problems entering new contests. If you're unable to access the Service, please report the problems by emailing us at support@mundodt.com . If there are sustained periods where players are unable to access Service functionality, or otherwise prevented from editing lineups, or in certain other situations, we may provide instructions on how to cancel your entries over email prior to game time.

Contest Cancellation

MundoDT also reserves that right to cancel contests at our discretion, without any restrictions. This would typically be done only in cases where we believe that due to problems on the Service or events impacting the sporting events, there would be a widespread impact on the integrity of contests.

Scoring Revisions

During the game we receive live scoring from our stats provider, DataFactory. 24 hours after the game has ended they pass us a final box score for the game. After we receive and confirm the box scores for all the day's games we then settle all entries. However, very rarely, the leagues and stats provider revise the box scores after the final box score has been released. In the event of this occurring the player scores on MundoDT will not be updated and the settlements will not be revised. Note that this is not the same situation as a case where a correction needs to be made after settlement due to a problem with the data feed or the settlement process. In these cases the settlement process (including payment) may be reversed and games resettled correctly.
